TYLER, James
Date of Birth: 25th December 1980
Position: Forward
Tall, jet-heeled forward James 'Tiz' Tyler joined Lok in October 2007. He began his Junior career with Ardeer Thistle in 2005 after a number of years in the Ayrshire Amateur ranks with sunday amateurs Viva as well as top level outfits Girdle Toll and Newmilns Vesuvius. His sole season at Ardeer brought him to the attention of bigger clubs and he moved to hometown club Irvine Meadow XI in the summer of 2006. His goalscoring continued with Meadow but, despite that, he fell out of favour with the Meadow Park side and was made available for transfer in June 2007. Top Junior clubs moved for him but Saltcoats Victoria was where James ended up. 3 months later he joined Lok, but the move didn't work out and he transferred to Kilwinning Rangers in February 2008.
