![]() | Ross began his career at Rangers, then signed a deal with SPL side St. Johnstone in September 2001, but was released in May 2002. After a very brief stint with Pollok Juveniles U21 and then as a trialist at Queen of the South he tried his luck with Bells First Division side Arbroath and after impressing in central defence was offered a deal. He stayed a season then journeyed on to St. Mirren as a trialist in the pre-season of 2003-04 before ending up at Bellshill Athletic soon after where his partnership with Tom Brown was the rock on which the Athletic success was built upon. It was from the New Brandon Park side that Lok signed Ross, now a defensive midfielder, in July 2005. After one season, he signed for Johnstone Burgh in August 2006. | 1997-98:
